Mobile App – Terms of Use

Applies to: Website (https://myth-lights.com) and Myth Lights mobile application (iOS & Android)

1. Introduction and Scope

​

a. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the owner of the application, Myth Lights ("we", "our", or "us"), upon downloading and using the Myth Lights mobile application.
b. The Myth Lights app allows users to control their purchased lighting devices via Bluetooth technology.
c. This application is intended for adult users only (18 years and older).
d. You can access this document at any time through the "Settings" menu in the application.
e. Personal data collected during use of the app is processed in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and protected as described in this document and the Privacy Notice.

2. Data Collected and Purpose of Processing

a. The following personal data is collected and processed within the application:

  • Your email address: For account registration and verification purposes.

  • UUID of the purchased device: For identifying the device via the server.

b. This data is only used to create your user account and establish connection with your device. No other personal data is collected, stored, or shared with third parties.

3. Location and Bluetooth Access

​

a. The application uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
b. On iOS and Android systems, location access is technically required for Bluetooth pairing. However, no location data is collected or stored during this process.

4. Your Rights as a User

​

Under the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Request correction of your data

  • Request restriction of processing

  • Withdraw your consent

5. Usage Rules

​

a. Users agree to use the app in compliance with laws and public morality.
b. All visual elements, templates, and UI design of the app belong to Myth Lights. While third-party libraries may be used, the original content is copyrighted to our brand.
c. If any harmful, illegal, or unauthorized use is detected, the user's account may be suspended or deleted.

6. Favorite Setting Sharing

​

Users may optionally export and share their favorite light settings with others through the app. This action is entirely user-initiated and does not involve automatic sharing of any personal data.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

​

a. The app uses cloud-based services via Google Firebase for functions such as email verification, account management, and retrieving device data.
b. Firebase is a secure infrastructure provided by Google, and data processed through it is used solely for service provision.
c. No automatic data sharing with third-party email providers or advertising platforms is performed.
d. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
e. The application is not responsible for issues caused by the user’s device, operating system, or internet connection.

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Updates will be published within the app or on our official website (https://myth-lights.com). It is your responsibility to stay informed of any changes.
